Celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month May 13th, 2020 Virtual Award Ceremony ******** The winners of the 2020 BAAFN Student Essay Contest were recognized for their essays addressing the contest theme of "What it means to be Asian American"
in a virtual award ceremony. Each awardee shared insights on his/her personal journey with reflections and anecdotes on their path to coming to terms with his/her heritage. The origins to their stories encompassed Korea, Taiwan, India and China.
