2017 Second Annual BAAFN Essay Contest

On May 24th, 2017, winners of the second annual BAAFN Essay Contest were honored in a ceremony at Brookline Town Hall. ​A captivated audience listened to the winners read their personal essays and past winners were there to present the awards. 2017 winners: Hee Yun Rothman (BAAFN Award), Rachel Percy (Best Creativity Award),
Emily Zhu (Best Content Award). 
​ After the award ceremony, Andrew Leong, JD presented a session on the History of the Chinese Exclusion act following an excerpt from the PBS documentary. AAPI May 24th, 2017, event
